Policy
Financial aid requests will be considered only after the admissions process has been completed and you have been accepted to the program.

A specific amount of financial assistance in the form of work- study is available for those whose financial challenges prohibit them from enrollment. Each request is carefully assessed in terms of financial need and available funds. Due to limited resources, we cannot guarantee that every application will result in an award.

At One Spirit we are committed to helping you achieve your goal of study. We also encourage each student to explore other sources of financial assistance or support that may be available.

Work-Study
One Spirit has a limited number of work-study positions available for both attending and distance-learning students. Most positions are of an administrative/clerical/research nature. However, we are open to other ideas or needed services that reflect your individual strengths and areas of specialization. Work-study is offered in the spirit of reciprocity and building of community. Your commitment to your work-study assignments will be reviewed on a quarterly basis. Failure to fulfill your work-study obligation may result in suspension of your financial aid and resumption of your financial obligation.

Optional Payment Plan
In some rare instances a student may need to vary from the traditional payment schedule in order to effectively budget their full tuition costs. This must be arranged with the bursar prior to enrollment, after showing the reasons for a variance.

Note: All awards, tuition abatement and aid are contingent upon satisfactory course work and participation. Failure to maintain satisfactory course work may result in a suspension of funds.

Note: All awards, tuition abatement and aid are on a case-by-case basis, and will not be automatically carried over into the next year of study.
