GENERAL EVENT
INFORMATION: POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Registration & Payment
- Seating is limited; pre-registration is recommended.
- Registration can be completed Online; via Phone;
or with an Event Registration Form (fax, mail, or in person).
- Payment must be made at the time of registration
in order to reserve a space.
- Payment may be made by credit card, check (made
out to “One Spirit Learning Alliance”), or cash.
- Pre-registration ends at 4:00 p.m. the business
weekday immediately preceding an event.
- All event fees are $10 higher at the door.
- Reserved seats not claimed by the event start
time may be sold to people waiting to pay at the door, so please
arrive 15 minutes before start time to secure your seat.

Class Recordings
- One Spirit Learning Alliance reserves the right
to record audio/visual archives of the presentation & class
participation of any event and to use these recordings for educational
purposes.
- One Spirit Learning Alliance endeavors always
to honor requests for individual anonymity: participation in recording
(e.g. speaking into a microphone, appearing on camera, etc.) is
optional, and it is up to each participant to exercise her or
his preference as to being recorded, taped or photographed.0
Distance Learning
- Many events (presentation & class participation)
are recorded and made available for distance learning. Please
see course descriptions to see which events are available for
Distance Learning.
- For these events, participants may register as
either “attending” or “distance learning.”
- Participants are eligible for distance learning
if they EITHER
- live more than 50 miles from the event location,
or know at the time of registration that they cannot attend
a single-day event, OR
- can attend less than half of the sessions
of a multi-session event.
- Audio recordings are MP3 audio files distributed
via podcast technology unless otherwise required. Please see the
One Spirit Podcast Center for more information and technical requirements:

Location
All events are located at One Spirit Learning Alliance,
330 West 38th Street, Suite 1500, New York, NY, unless otherwise
noted.
Refunds
- Participants may withdraw from an event before
it begins. At registrant’s discretion, fee will be EITHER
- Refunded to the registrant minus a $25 processing
fee (to cover our costs with electronic registration and payment
services). OR
- Credited in total toward the price of another
One Spirit event.
- No credits or refunds will be issued after an
event begins.
- Participants who register as “attending,”
but who do not attend, may access the event recording (if available)
via podcast; see “Class Recordings” above.
Cancellation
One Spirit Learning Alliance reserves the right to cancel or reschedule
any event.
Cameras & Recording Equipment
Use of recording equipment (audio or visual, including cameras)
is not permitted without the written permission of One Spirit Learning
Alliance.
